A wedding is the one occasion here where endurance matters as much as harmony, and the scoring reflects that: Venus for the marriage itself, Jupiter for its growth, and Saturn weighted as a positive presence rather than a hazard. Saturn is the principle of what holds, and a commitment intended to outlast the party is not well served by an entirely Venusian day with nothing structural in it.
This is the occasion with the strongest preference for a filling Moon anywhere in the scoring, for the same reason — tradition is emphatic that something intended to grow should begin while the Moon grows.
Search a season, not a day
Nobody chooses a wedding date by testing one day at a time. The useful question is which weekend in a six-month stretch is strongest, and that is what a pass answers: every day ranked, best first, with the five strongest explained in full.
Venues and families narrow the field before astrology gets a say. In practice this works best as a way of choosing between the three or four dates you can actually have — and of knowing, when a venue offers you a date, whether it is one to take.
It will tell you a month is bad
When the entire window is poor, you are told so instead of being shown its best day with a flattering score. That matters most here, because a wedding date is the hardest decision on this site to revisit once announced.
The limit, plainly: this reads timing. It has nothing to say about whether you should marry, and the ranking of a day is not a verdict on a marriage.

What it warns you about
Venus retrograde
The oldest and firmest rule in this tradition for weddings, and as heavy a penalty as any applied anywhere in this scoring — matched only by Mercury retrograde for signing a contract. Venus turns retrograde for around six weeks roughly every eighteen months, and those weeks are worth knowing before you book.
A void-of-course Moon
Penalised more severely for a wedding than for any other occasion. The Moon has perfected its last aspect before changing sign, which tradition holds barren for anything begun in it.
A waning Moon
Counts against a wedding more than anywhere else here. Not a veto — a strong day with a waning Moon can still rank well — but it is a real weight.
